1. Supervises and provides support to health facility in-charges to ensure the delivery of quality health services using FMOH/WHO policies and guidelines.
2. Manage and supervise staff:
a. Hire, train, and develop staff, including physicians, nurses, and support personnel.
b. Monitor staff performance, and provide feedback, coaching, and support as needed.
c. Address staffing shortages, and ensure adequate coverage at all times.
d. Implement and enforce personnel policies and procedures.
3. Ensure delivery of high-quality care:
a. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
b. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the health care centers.
c. Implement quality improvement initiatives, and continuously strive for excellence.
4. Coordinate with external partners:
a. Collaborate with local health departments, community organizations, and other stakeholders to improve the health of the community.
b. Participate in community health planning and coordination efforts.

6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements:

7. In collaboration with the medical warehouse officer, the Health and Nutrition team, SMOH, and the Logistics department, ensure proper drug supply chain management to ALIGHT-supported health facilities according to ALIGHT and SMOH policies and procedures.
8. Conduct joint monitoring visits in collaboration with locality health departments of the SMOH, using standard supervision checklists, analyze the results, share feedback with the health facilities, and take the lead in following up on the action points and implementation.
9. Liaise with SMOH to ensure the availability of vaccines in the health facilities, and support immunization and other clinic sessions organized at the health center, including outreach activities.
10. Coordinates with Community Health and Hygiene supervisors, and PHCC supervisors, on health-related activities in the community to improve community participation and ownership.
11. Promotes environmental sanitation activities within the health facilities to minimize environmental health hazards.
12. Coordinate with the data processor and data support to ensure that weekly and monthly health facility data are submitted promptly.
13. Represent ALIGHT in health cluster coordination meetings.
14. Raise PRFs as per the implementation plan, and ensure proper filing and tracking.
15. Ensure proper filing of health and nutrition reports at the office level and facility level as well.
16. Performs any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
