• Supervises and provides support to HF in-charges to ensure delivery of quality health services

1. Supervises and provides support to health facility in-charges to ensure the delivery of quality health services using FMOH/WHO policies and guidelines.

2. Manage and supervise staff:

a. Hire, train, and develop staff, including physicians, nurses, and support personnel.

b. Monitor staff performance, and provide feedback, coaching, and support as needed.

c. Address staffing shortages, and ensure adequate coverage at all times.

d. Implement and enforce personnel policies and procedures.

3. Ensure delivery of high-quality care:

a. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

b. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the health care centers.

c. Implement quality improvement initiatives, and continuously strive for excellence.

4. Coordinate with external partners:

a. Collaborate with local health departments, community organizations, and other stakeholders to improve the health of the community.

b. Participate in community health planning and coordination efforts.

5. Manage budget and resources:

a. Develop and manage the budget for the health care centers.

b. Ensure efficient use of resources, and minimize waste.

6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements:

a. Stay up to date with changes in healthcare regulations and industry standards.

b. Ensure the health care centers comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

7. In collaboration with the medical warehouse officer, the Health and Nutrition team, SMOH, and the Logistics department, ensure proper drug supply chain management to ALIGHT-supported health facilities according to ALIGHT and SMOH policies and procedures.

8. Conduct joint monitoring visits in collaboration with locality health departments of the SMOH, using standard supervision checklists, analyze the results, share feedback with the health facilities, and take the lead in following up on the action points and implementation.

9. Liaise with SMOH to ensure the availability of vaccines in the health facilities, and support immunization and other clinic sessions organized at the health center, including outreach activities.

10. Coordinates with Community Health and Hygiene supervisors, and PHCC supervisors, on health-related activities in the community to improve community participation and ownership.

11. Promotes environmental sanitation activities within the health facilities to minimize environmental health hazards.

12. Coordinate with the data processor and data support to ensure that weekly and monthly health facility data are submitted promptly.

13. Represent ALIGHT in health cluster coordination meetings.

14. Raise PRFs as per the implementation plan, and ensure proper filing and tracking.

15. Ensure proper filing of health and nutrition reports at the office level and facility level as well.

16. Performs any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Develop and maintain well communication with the teams and the relevant stakeholder
• Participate in COVID-19 preparedness coordination meetings and working groups at national and field levels
• Conduct community health awareness sessions in affected communities
• Monitor and supervise COVID-19 preparedness and response, evaluating progress through outputs and impact
• Project implementation narratives, weekly monthly & quarterly updates, analytical and fact/data sheets, and monitoring briefs to the COVID-19 PM on time
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor (Director)

• Develop and maintain well communication with the teams and the relevant stakeholder
• Conduct health promotion sessions at clinics
• Response to any suspected case of epidemiological disease
• Monitor and supervise EPI, RH, Nutrition, IPC, WASH, and Essential drugs activities
• Project implementation narratives, weekly monthly & quarterly updates
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor (Director)

• Planning for Environmental Activities for SMoH and the partners
• Conduct training for staff and the community (SAG Committee) on specific appropriate Environmental health issues
• Ensure adequate community mobilization and participation in all health interventions
• Participate in regular assessments, planning, and coordination of health activities with health agencies
• Preparing for the implementation of any project with the partners in South Darfur State
• Preparing and submitting Monthly Sanitation Coordination meetings and reporting the gaps and overlaps About the implemented projects to FMOH and the partners
• Conduct WASH KAP Surveys (HHs, Schools, Public Places, and Health Care Facilities)
• Deal with Information Management System (IMS) such KOBO
• Any other duties and responsibilities

• Participated in the investigation of the Diphtheria outbreak in Alsunta locality Sep 2019
• Participated in the investigation and Response to COVID-19 Pandemic 2020
• Worked as coordinator of the state RRTs in the period of COVID-19 pandemic - 2020
