A GIS project for the French-Jordanian company “Miyahuna” to collect geographical information on domestic water and wastewater networks

Internal building materials testing in the areas of aggregates, layers without binders and earthworks:

• Building material tests as laboratory tests according to DIN and the company's performance profile
• Responsible handling of testing and working equipment, working materials
• Collaboration in the implementation of the QM system
• Main tests: Compaction test, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), permeability test, shear strength test, consolidation test, water content, specific gravity, grading line analysis, sieve analysis, Los-Angeles abrasion test, pliability and length index test, soundness test, aggregate impact value test and angularity number test

Scientific achievements:

1. Fabrication of concrete composites with liquid and solution sensing capability by modifying embedded polyethylene polymers making them electrically conductive.

2. Optimization of the partial safety factors in European Code [EN-1990- 6.10 (a,b)] based on the current environmental and thermal actions, seismic and accidental loads. Risk & Reliability based approaches described in ISO 2394:2015(E) were mainly applied.
