Job overview

Responsible for the economic and efficient operation of small- to medium-sized club facilities and activities. Club Complex management encompasses departments such as Food and Beverage Operations, Bar Operations, Event Operations at two facilities, Bingo Gaming Operations and overall MWR facility Operations.

Implements higher level directives, formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of food and beverage, recreational and entertainment/promotional programs. Establishes, reviews, and evaluates menu planning, food service, purchase of supplies, equipment, and resale merchandise. Responsible for maintenance and procurement of club equipment to include restaurant / food operations equipment as well as bar equipment. Manages Food Operations manager and oversees procurement of food and beverage inventory, safety and sanitation practices and employee training.

Establishes financial goals commensurate with market analysis of area or region. Prepares budget, analyzes financial results, and maintains solid financial condition of the club or club complex.

Responsible for workforce management, recruitment, and staff training for 35 employees in the Club Complex facility. Advises and directs employees regarding policy, procedures, and AF directives. Processes RPA's for various HR procedures to include, recruit / fill, reassignment, promotion, temp reassignment or promotion and separation. Work closely with HRO to process employee detail assignments PIP's (performance improvement plans) and documenting and processing memorandums and letters of reprimand. Develops, monitors, and implements employee performance standards and conducts and approves mid-term and annual employee reviews. Communicates NAF HRO guidance to employees and staff in addition to working with local labor union regarding employee interests, when needed.

Manages, coordinates, and oversees event services for event spaces at the Club and the 5 event spaces at the Museum of Aviation. Event Center operations include ceremonies such as promotions, retirements, mission essential training, Change of Commands, ALS Graduation, Recognition Ceremonies, Dedications, Resiliency Events and other MWR hosted Club events. Monitors food and beverage catering services at the Museum of Aviation in coordination with Public Health.
