August 06 to August 07 Purchasing Director North America. Developed purchasing structure on organization, procedures, flow charts and training of present staff including SQA activities for the Nafta Region. Rebuild supplier panel based on contract settings and vendor management with the local purchasing team of five associates in three different facilities. Hired new purchasing and SQA employees for the team.

August 07 until July 08 commodity director for stamped and bended steel parts. Implemented new structure and standards with 4 employees and purchasing volume of 35 Mio €.

July 08 director commodity purchasing. Implementation of a new strategic purchasing organization for the future with respect to the automotive requirements. Guiding and leading a team of 20 associates with responsibility of 212 Mio €. Leading the NAFTA team with 8 buyers in Mexico and the US.

Project Buyer DC programs. Strategic sourcing for all program related parts (€ 30 Mio.). Sourced new vendors based on cost reduction targets through strategic contract negotiations. Provided purchasing input to the development teams.

Responsible for electronic applications. Interacted with R&D, vendors and other stakeholders to maintain on-time deliveries. Annual purchasing volume approx. 10 Mio. €.

Developed C-part-management via Kanban-system, maintained and improved Supply-Chain procedures.
