Job responsibilities: Management and technical coordination of mechanical ECU/VCU development projects

• Leading international project teams with team members from design, purchasing, manufacturing, layout, internal customer, technology departments, etc
• Delivering projects that meet the target objectives such as deadlines, quality, costs
• Regular monitoring of the project activities for the early identification of possible risks, deviations
• Regular reporting on project status to management and internal customer
• Prompt processing of 8Ds and problem solving cases with own team leading
• Estimating and monitoring project costs
• Documentation of work results

Management of automotive injection molding projects.

Projects varied from totally new products to smaller tool modifications, or raw material changes.

Job responsibilities:

• Management of projects, applying well known PM tools (e.g quality-, risk-, change-, communication management)
• Delivery of projects according agreed targets
• Planning of project time schedules
• Target oriented leadership of cross-functional team (Purchasing, Production, Quality, Logistics)
• Regular meetings with suppliers and customers to align and review project status, discuss risks, or TQ's
• Regular review of projects towards management
• Complete administration of projects
• Preparation of quotations for customer inquiries

Learned the basics of how a competitive automotive company operates and functions on the daily.

Practiced the basis of problem solving and presentation skills, while working in a team and also independently.

Main tasks included:

• Investigation and improvement of the injection molding machines efficiency by the reduction of the scrap rates.
• Also assisted in the 3D design of robot hands, assembly stations and measuring jigs.
