1. Project : Surface Point Generation Utility

Client : Thyssen Krupp-Research team, Germany.

Hardware/Software : Solid Edge(V16) Open API, Visual Basic

• The project is about building an application in Solid Edge (SE) for generating an ASCII file containing point coordinates (x,y,z), for a grid of 5000 points (50 x 100), from the surface of a bevel gear. The point data goes as an input for analysis, which interprets this point data and analyses the gear design for any failures

2. Project : Aspen-Matlab

Client : General Motors, USA.

Hardware/Software : Java-swings, Matlab-Simulink, Oracle 9iAs+9iDB

The purpose of this project is to integrate Aspen Algorithm application with Matlab through Matlab-Simulink blocks customization. The integration provides various functionalities for managing the data entities in Matlab as well as in the Aspen application.

3. Project : HCLQA

Client : Hamilton Sundstrand, USA.

Hardware/Software : Window32 SDK, Unigraphics Open API

HCLQA is a tool developed at HCL that ensures high quality engineering product design at reduced manual quality checking(QC) effort. It facilitates automated QC for Computer Aided Design work. The standards that are specific to a client are incorporated in this tool.

4. Project : Volvo

Client : Volvo.

Hardware/Software : Window32 SDK, Unigraphics Open API

The goal of the project was to develop a custom software program to automatically generate view labels for section/detail views with reference to its child/parent view for Volvo Aero drawing sheets.

5. Project : Abacus GUI

Hardware/Software : Abacus 6.5-3

Abacus GUI (Graphical User Interface) is a plug-in GUI developed to read the Abaqus report files and perform interpolation between specified time increments.

6. Project : Axcelis PMT(Project Management Tool)

Client : Axcelis.

Hardware/Software : VB 6.0, HTML, CSS

The purpose of this project was to import various project management related data with graphs, embedded in various excel files and export them dynamically as HTML pages and publish them onto the website retaining the format and styles.

7. Project : Tririga

Client : Tririga.

Work on replacing the existing SVG-based implementations to a Better and Faster display format in Facility Centers in Tririga application - to meet the demands of Graphics, Visualization, multiple Browser compatibility and reduced Memory utilization requirements.

Engineering Graduation Project:

Title : Network Management using the SNMP Protocol

Organization : VINCITI Networks, Bangalore, India

Language used : C++

The project work involved implementation of SNMP Protocol and the C++ script written, polling various system parameters. Conveying status of the interfaces and related information about the system – to alert the administrator in case of a network failure, through emails / sms. Thus, the Administrator can ensure uninterrupted efficiency of Networks.
