body score count of pig, sturdiness of their legs,
as well as overall appearance of animal. I am
also one doing artificial insemination to selected
gilt and sow that are in heat. Pregnancy checking and overall checking of well being of pig is also part of my work. Exposed to barn activities that maintains
cleanliness of pen where pigs are located.
Have knowledge and enough experience on
farrowing. Exposed and experienced in vaccination and medication of pigs regarding of age and weight
and in blood collection. Selecting of potential gilt for breeding, boar for semen collection, and piglets to be grown as fatteners. Feeding of animal is also part of what I do, adjustment of what type of feed and its
corresponding amount are part of it. Semen collection and semen processing is also part of my job. I am used to collect semen from our boars (senior/junior) and I also train them to be one of active boars we can use in future. Processing semen is also part of what I do. Fresh from collection,semen are processed but it is
examined first if its quality is for processing. If
quality is good enough it is then processed wherein extenders were added. Working with an average of 1200 sow level. With 75 heads breeding volume per week
