Cristina Valega Chipoco

I am a human rights lawyer, researcher, and educator with expertise in gender-based violence, international human rights law, and intersectionality. With over seven years of experience, I have led and managed large-scale projects on gender justice, diversity, and inclusion across academia, public institutions, and international organizations. My work includes strategic litigation, policy development, and high-level advocacy with governments, UN agencies, and corporate leaders. I specialize in legal research on gender-based violence, consent, and restorative justice, with publications contributing to international legal debates. As a lecturer and trainer, I have delivered corporate, judicial, and academic trainings on human rights, gender equality, and anti-discrimination, fostering institutional change.
