  • For my group’s senior design project, we reached out to Mitsubishi Electric to design a simulated passive airport security checkpoint that relied on the use of depth sensor cameras and radars to detect if a person was carry any contraband, like metal or large containers of liquid, while having the person walk through a short corridor instead of stopping to get screened by standard millimeter-wave scanners.

While there, we built upon our leadership and team building skills while teaching the scouts these same responsibilities as well as new skills granting them their merit badges. I was responsible for teaching sail-boating, motor boating, and life-saving merit badges and performing life-guard duties while no merit badges were in session.
