In my current role as Head of Department in pharmaceutical quality management, I am responsible for overseeing key processes related to pharmacovigilance, regulatory compliance, and the development of pharmaceutical strategies. My role involves leading a team, preparing and conducting training sessions, addressing complex regulatory questions, and driving the conceptual advancement of workflows. By fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality standards, I aim to contribute to the overall improvement of pharmaceutical practices and patient safety.

During my time as a clinical pharmacist at a Bundeswehr hospital, I had the privilege of leading the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, where I assumed responsibility for both personnel management and the professional development of the department. My core responsibilities included Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM), implementing and supporting Antibiotic Stewardship programs, and ensuring medication therapy safety for patients. Additionally, I provided comprehensive pharmaceutical consultations to physicians, contributing to optimal therapeutic outcomes and advancing interprofessional collaboration.

As a pharmacist in a public pharmacy, I was responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing expert advice to patients on prescription and over-the-counter treatments, and supporting physicians with pharmaceutical expertise. In addition to these responsibilities, I led and coordinated a team of pharmacy staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining compliance with legal and quality standards, and fostering a collaborative and patient-focused working environment.

As a medical officer candidate, I gained comprehensive training in leadership, medical operations, and interdisciplinary teamwork within the structured framework of the armed forces. This role provided me with the opportunity to develop resilience, strategic decision-making skills, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure. My responsibilities included coordinating medical care, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and contributing to the overall readiness and efficiency of healthcare services.
