Accomplishments

Educated high school students in all fields of Family and Consumer Sciences. The past 20 years were devoted to teaching students in the culinary arts; Level I, Level II, and Level III. Wrote the curriculum for all the culinary arts courses as well as writing the curriculum for the Fashion Arts classes. Over the years helped to develop the Family Dynamics course that incorporated budgeting, planning, decision making, renting, car purchase, etc.


In the Culinary Arts courses coordinated and organized classroom atmosphere while respecting the autonomy of the student. Process based, product based and hands on progress is the main assessment of the course. Stressed a "show me" based grading system.
