I am a versatile organic chemist with 7+ years of hands-on experience in academic laboratories. I assimilated a wide range of skills, such as small and complex molecule synthesis, route planning, photocatalysis, designing new methodologies, photochemistry, product purification, analysis and characterization, independent project management, and strong interdisciplinary teamwork abilities. With great communication skills and adaptability to diverse environments, I am always eager to learn something new from every experience. Overall, I am always looking for exciting opportunities while keeping updated on the latest research trends in chemistry and pharmacy.
I’m working on the design, synthesis, and characterization of redox-active materials derived from N-heterocyclic carbenes and their applications in organic photocatalysis.
Thesis Topic: Light induced organic transformations using homogeneous photocatalysis.
Supervisor Name: Prof. Nidhi Jain
I established my skills in synthetic organic chemistry, photochemistry, method development, product purification, and analysis, worked on my ideas, and developed and finalized several projects in parallel, both on my own and in collaboration with scientists from different backgrounds.
Thesis Topic: Design, Synthesis, and Characterization of Tricarboxamides.
Thesis Supervisor: Prof. ApurbaK Das
I was honored to receive the DAAD Scholarship during my PhD, allowing me to conduct research in Professor Burkhard König's lab at the University of Regensburg in Germany from October 2020 to January 2023. During this time, my main focus was on projects related to visible light-mediated dual photocatalysis as part of my PhD studies.
