· Work as Designated Quality Representative (DQR) to perform product inspection, acceptance, and release.

· Perform inspection on incoming/outgoing raw materials/machined parts from company or subcontractor by conducting visual and dimensional and final inspection checks to ensure it meets required specifications. Handled instruments like Vernier caliper, ID and OD Micrometer, Depth gauges, Ball gauges, Ring groove gauges, bore gauge, plug gauge, ring gauge, Surface comparator, etc...,

· Reviewing and Accepting MTR (Material test record/certificates), QA/QC documentation submitted by supplier against Bill of material requirements for each PO, for shipping authorization.

· Ensuring that all the welding related records such as weld maps, welding procedure, welder qualification documents and calibration records of welding related equipment’s etc. are maintained as per code requirements.

· Inspection and Test plan, carryout Inspection / Witness, Hold & Review Stage wise activities as per the inspection requirements.

· Fit-up Inspection and welding process inspection, visual inspection (Before, during and final inspection). Monitor and record welding parameter during welding as per WPS.

· To carryout layer by layer clad visual inspection, and dimensional inspection according to the applicable Project specifications, approved drawings and international codes and Standards.

· Reviewing WPS, PQR & WQR.

· Knowledge about Piping Isometrics, General arrangement drawings, Structural drawings, Weld Maps, welding symbols, Quality control procedures, Base Materials, and welding consumables Inspection as per respective materials specifications, Codes, Standards & Client Specifications.

· Coordinating and Witnessing Weld Procedure Qualification Test, Welder Qualification Test and Organized with the client and Inspection Agency Inspector.

· Monitor and witness NDT, which includes UT, MT, PT.

· Witness for post weld heat treatment and review the PWHT harts. Line check inspection, Pneumatic Testing, Hydro test.

· To carryout inspection activities like dimensional, NDE, welding, hardness, Assembly, and final inspection, etc.

· Author to create, release and close Non-Conformance Products (NCM).

· Review test pack and all inspection reports for final Inspection documents summit to Client approval.

· Preparation of COC & Databook for submitting clients/end user. Review all parts and/or equipment, prior to shipment (final Inspection).

· Inspection on Receiving Raw Materials Such as Plates, Pipes, Welding Consumables, Etc., by Verifying MTC as per Relevant Code.

· Monitoring / Witnessing all the Welding, Fabrication activities as per client approved Inspection & Test Plans, Quality Control procedures.

· Monitoring of welding processes such as GTAW, GMAW and SMAW and Good knowledge of Semi-automatic Mag welding Machine.

· Actively involved in conducting fit up inspection of joints (Bevel Angle, Root Gap, Root Face, and Alignment) & Visual Inspection of Welds.

· Conducting Non-Destructive Examination for welded joints (DPT & MPI)

· Conduct walk through inspection with client for line checking as per drawing after finishing

· fabrication work.

· Witnessing the hydro testing and pneumatic testing of Pressure Vessels As per Relevant Code.

· Monitoring of welders and their repair percentage.

· Preparation of Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Inspection Test Plan (ITP) as per Project specification and Client Scope of Work.

· Verification of Pre heat; Inter pass temperature etc. before welding and during welding.

· Monitoring / Witnessing all the Welding, Fabrication & Erection related activities as per client approved Inspection & Test Plans, Quality Control procedures.

· Review of radiographic films, witnessing of UT, MT, PT, Hardness, PWHT and review of test reports.

· Witnessing the hydro testing and pneumatic testing of pipeline as per Relevant Code.

· Inspection of Heat Exchanger Internals Such as Shell, Tube Bundle, Tie-Rods, Baffles, Etc., for determining various Damage Mechanisms.

· Hydrostatic Test (Shell Side, Tube Side, Final Shell Side) Inspection of Heat Exchangers as per Relevant Code.

· Inspection of Process Piping’s through various NDE techniques such as VT, PT & UT for determining various Damage Mechanisms.

· Inspection of Storage Tank Internals Such as Bottom Plates, Annular Plates, Shell Courses, Roof Plates, Etc., for Determining various Damage Mechanisms.

· Inspection of Bolts & Nuts for Ensuring Proper Material Installed to the Component & Determining Corrosion.

· Knowledge in Inspection of Gaskets/Sealants (Metallic, Semi-Metallic & Non-Metallic) for Flanges as per Relevant Code.

· Raw material inspection, visual, dimension, verification of correctness, identification, and correlation with manufacturer's test certificate.

· Stage Inspection during Manufacture in the shop floor and updating of OPS.

· To carryout daily fit-up and weld visual inspection, and dimensional inspection according to the applicable Project specifications, approved drawings and international codes and Standards.

· 100%Carry out the visual inspection of weld joint

· Check on welding consumable storage/use.

· Visual check on weld joint for edge preparation, fit-up, root, preheat, inter-pass and final welds.

· Monitoring WPS implementation on job by welders.

· Carryout welder surveillance daily and review daily welding reports

· Witness NDT activities and Review NDT Report such as MPT and RT.
