Loco Remote Operation (2022 - 2023)
Remote operation of a Locomotive engine in a steel plant using a radio remote control device and remote monitoring of the locomotive conditions from a control center using a GPRS-based the communication network can provide numerous benefits, such as increased safety, efficiency, and productivity. By utilizing a radio remote control device, operators can remotely control the locomotive engine, allowing for more flexibility and convenience in operations. This can be particularly useful in situations where manual operation may be difficult or hazardous. I have worked as a Project In-charge, where my role is from Design Engineering to the commissioning of the system at the site. My job role also includes interaction for the approvals and programming of the devices as per the customer requirement, and demonstration of the final system at the site. Implementing such a project in a prominent private steel plant like JSW Steel Limited in India demonstrates the significance of the technology in the field of Logistics.
Wireless Monitoring System for Yard Machines (2021 - 2022)
The Wireless Monitoring System is used in the Yard Machines to monitor important signals like Long travel movement, collision avoidance signal communication, the status of the conveyor belts, and the material tracking process. This project was done at one of the prominent Power plants of India, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). I have worked as a Project In-charge, where my role is from Design Engineering to the commissioning of the system at the site. My job role also includes interaction for the approvals and programming of the devices as per the customer requirement, and demonstration of the final system at the site.
3D Stockpile Volume Measurement System (2019 - 2021)
A 3D Stockpile Volume Measurement System is a valuable tool used in stockyards of steel, power, and cement plants to effectively monitor the stock levels of materials stored in each yard. This system provides accurate and real-time information about the volume of materials present in the stockpiles, enabling efficient inventory management and planning. This project was done at one of the prominent Power plants of the State, Telangana Power Generation Corporation (TSGENCO). I have worked as a Project In-charge, where my role is from Design Engineering to the commissioning of the system at the site. My job role also includes interaction for the approvals and programming of the devices as per the customer requirement, and demonstration of the final system at the site.
