Project: FLY2PLAN: Enabling a new model aviation data system-of-systems

• Fly2Plan is a multi-partner research project funded by the Innovate UK Future Flight Challenge, that seeks to research a new model for trusted aerospace data exchange that improves efficiency and scalability and allows new entrants in urban air mobility and autonomous operations to participate.
• Fly2Plan consortium members: Heathrow, NATS, IBS Software, SITA, Cirium, Rockport Software, Consortiq, TEKTowr, Altitude Angel, Digital Catapult, Oxford University and Cranfield University.
• Work with the Oxford team on threat models and security-test strategies for the aviation data-exchange system under development within the wider project.
• Work with the Oxford team on operational security-monitoring approaches to be applied to the system.
• Contribute to the design of the system to ensure that it meets security and privacy requirements.
• Represent the project at external meetings and seminars, either with other members of the team or alone.
• Contribute to scientific reports, wider project planning, including ideas for follow-up research.

• Worked with software development and testing team members to design and develop robust solutions to meet client requirements for functionality, scalability, and performance.
