As a current medical student, my aspiration is to explore the field of research. Recognizing the profound impact that research can have on advancing medical understanding and patient outcomes, I am eager to contribute to innovative solutions and discoveries. My commitment to pursuing research reflects my dedication to continuously expand my knowledge and skills, ultimately contributing to advancements in the field of medicine
I gained hands-on experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. I observed and assisted with endoscopic techniques, including gastroscopies and colonoscopies, and learned to interpret imaging findings under expert supervision. This experience enhanced my understanding of gastrointestinal pathologies, minimally invasive interventions, and the integration of cutting-edge technology into patient care.
As a student assistant I have the opportunity to be part of a state of the art intensive care team. This is why I understand the critical significance of novel therapeutic and diagnostic approaches and their potential benefits for patients.
Within this research group, i was able to get in touch with scientific methods and writing. Especially regarding next generation sequencing in the context of acute myeloid leukemia.
I actively participated in patient consultations, taking patient histories and observing the diagnostic process firsthand. I assisted in routine procedures, such as measuring vital signs, administering injections, and conducting basic screenings. Additionally, I gained valuable experience in managing chronic diseases, providing preventive care, and coordinating interdisciplinary treatments, which deepened my understanding of primary healthcare.
