Driven 8th-semester medical student at Vilnius University (Lithuania), dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations and expanding the boundaries of care through General Surgery. From assisting a pediatric orthopedic surgeon treating severely disabled children to volunteering in underresourced settings in Arusha, Tanzania, I've seen firsthand how surgical interventions can profoundly alter lives. A strong sense of justice and empathy, shaped early on by caring for a disabled family member, fuels my commitment to medicine. Now, I seek a one-month Observership in the U.S. to learn from advanced technologies, innovative treatments, and patient-centered approaches-an essential step toward becoming the best possible physician and bringing hope and meaningful change to patients worldwide.
