Data Engineering graduate looking for the opportunity to grow professionally as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, and Data Analyst. I bring a fresh perspective, strong foundational knowledge, and a deep enthusiasm for working with data. My academic background and practical experiences have equipped me with the skills necessary to excel in data-related roles. Dedicated to performing high-quality evaluations and delivering accurate results.
I previously worked as a data analyst trainee at Brainnest, where i dealt with current business analytics cases, including accessing and integrating the right data and constructing a data maps. During my time I was able to learn to prepare data, explore it visually, and describe it using statistical methods, use a powerful set of business analytics tools such as (Tableau, Excel, Power BI) to create and share visualizations with others in the organization and use predictive tools(IBM SPSS) in business analytics that helped the company to make better decisions. This brought out some skills like problem solving, team work and organizational skills.
I have worked on a Smart temperature monitoring and controlling with a fan school project with my team, which controls fan speed according to our requirements fully using hardware design like Arduino. The main idea behind the project was to monitor the server room temperatures and rotate the fan if it's too high according the settings. My main role was a project leader who was responsible for data collection and database creation to continuously collect temperature and timestamp data every second and stores it. The data collected can be useful for those who have servers or equipment which is affected by an increase or decrease in temperature. The system designed in this project performed very well for any temperature change recorded which makes it an automatic control system. On this project I gained skills such as teamwork, leadership and communication.
During my time as a student, me and my team managed to work on a project from Geo-Informatics module of creating a low-cost AI buoy system for monitoring water quality at offshore aquaculture cages. By designing and implementing this low-cost easy to build AI buoy system which measures temperature, velocity and salinity as water quality parameters and then forwards the collected data to the shore server for storage using a wireless communication channel. Data collection facilitated the inclusion of prediction capabilities, using Server-side AI programs coded in python. This project demonstrated my ability to be creative, execute and deliver the desirable results and also can be used for key performance indicators.
