Summary

Grant Management

I was involved in executing the grant from USAID on the Flagship project. I contributed in the financial reporting and reviewing the reports from sub recipients. I was involved in sub-grant agreements and assessed the implementing partners financial and operational capacity.

Budget and Finance

UNAIDS has an agreement with local NGO and we do Community-led monitoring of HIV services. I am responsible for the implementation of contract, payments and deliverables. I have to check the financial report and audit report submitted by the partners to make sure that funds are spent as per agreed budget line. I manage country’s office operation budget and monitor the donor’s fund on office operations.

Procurement

We have issued commercial and non commercial contracts to strengthen the community led multi stakeholder leadership. I participated in the selection panel, arranged the contract and prepared periodic financial report. UNAIDS has management dashboard and I use that platform to monitor management efficiency and risk register.

HR

I was the Chair of HR working Group for UN OMT Myanmar in the second half of 2022. I am also good at human resources activities and I have contributed a lot regarding the staff welfare to UN SA during the difficult times in Myanmar. I was one of the organizers for UN day event. We did a lot for UN day family events such as painting competitions, essay competitions and costume parade.

Administration and logistics

I was the Chair of UN Myanmar Admin Working Group in the first half of 2020. I had a chance to participate in International Conference on AIDS and STI in Africa (2021 ICASA). It was a high-level event organized in Durban and UNAIDS was the main contributor. I provided logistical and administrative support. Since UNAIDS Myanmar is in a standalone building, I am responsible for the property and facility management. I am also the learning and agency security focal for Myanmar Country Office.
