I obtained my Ph.D. degree in July 2007 from Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences). After working as a lecturer for a short time in Jinan University (Jinan China), I got a postdoctoral position in University of Freiburg. During my Ph.D. study, my research was centred on proteomic alterations in Arabidopsis callus cells and seedlings treated with altered gravity. In the first few years of my postdoctoral research, I was engaged in plant genetics research works, including map based cloning of plant genes, function analysis of plant genes and proteins, etc. From year of 2013 I started to take part in the gravitational biology projects. In these projects, NGS, proteomic and bioinformatic techniques were used to analyse transcriptome and proteome or phosphorylated proteome between normal gravity and micro or hyper gravity, wild type and mutant Arabidopsis. Thanks to these experiences, I gained an expertise of scientific, technical and organizational skills in the field of biology which I am now prepared to deploy to new professional challenges.
