Plans and supervise the work of skilled Electricians performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on high and low voltage, City-owned electrical wiring systems.
Locates and repairs defects in electrical systems, which involves the performance of difficult electrical tasks.
Carry out the Preventive Maintenance Program as it applies to the electrical systems
Participate in pre-job safety meetings and utilize the Scorpion STING Risk Management Process for all tasks to maintain safe working conditions at all times.
Providing input to identify key success factors for Electrical crew. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of Electrical services, quality, subcontractor performance and construction cost.
Assist other Maintenance Team members as required in support of operational performance excellence (e.g.: electrical, mechanical, electronic maintenance and repairs).
Correct any unsafe condition and redirect any unsafe behaviours. Estimates supplies and materials needed by Electricians and requests that they be ordered;
Monitors the workmanship and performance of subordinates by inspecting projects assigned to and completed by them;
Knowledge of Termination and installation of A.C and D.C motor.
Termination and testing of Transformer such as open circle test, short circuit test and polarity test. Erection Of street light pole, installation and termination of street light and control gear box.
Erection & Connection of starter work like DOL starter, Star Delta Starter and auto transformer starter.
Electrical maintenance Engineer
I worked in the Electrical Power Plant, which consists of Five Gas turbine Generators (frame6). Each Generator Rated at 40 MW. All of them on Duty and Synchronized To Solar Generator (14unit) Each Solar Rated at 3.3MW in addition to that There are Four 20kv, 3.3kv, and 0.4kv Substations having four 66kv Switch Yards and associated Overhead lines (20kv&66kv). The whole Power Plant and Substations are controlled remotely by D.C.S and PMS (Power Management System). The Gas Turbines are controlled by the Mark V (speedtronic) & DCS. The Plant also includes Lighting System, Cathodic Protection, UPS, Battery Chargers, A/C unit Electrical Motors of various Capacities.
I worked as Supervisor with commissioning and Maintenance team of 20kv and 66kv Overhead Lines and Distribution Power Cables, and the Construction of Gas turbine 5, and the Electrical Test for this Turbine.
I worked as Supervisor with commissioning Team during READA Transformers Installation and all theirs tests (Megger test, Continuity test, Earthing test, Hi Pot test, High Voltage Cable test, Polarization index test, fault simulation test), I worked as Supervisor during Gas Turbine2 Generator Test by Alstom.
I am a Senior Authorized Electrical Person According to Alfurat Petroleum Company Electrical safety Rules (Authority for out the work on all HV. Equipments) - And I did the following Activities:
- Corrective & Preventive Maintenance for the Generator and its Auxiliaries. 66KV Switchyards High Voltage Switchgear, H.V distribution Panels, L.V Switchgear, L.V distribution Panels & LV Electrical Motors (0.4kv-3.3kv). - Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for all Circuit Breakers (3.3kvC.B-20KVC.B-66KVC.B —LV Circuit Breakers) SF6 Circuit Breakers Vacuum Circuit Breakers Air blast Circuit Breakers Air Conditions and Ventilation Systems. Lighting Systems. Ear thing Systems, Batteries (lead Acid and Cadmium), Oil test for the Transformers and other Equipments, Gas Charging (SF6) for the Circuit Breakers, Routine and Corrective Maintenance for 20kv Substations and its Auxiliaries, and Switchyards.
