Currently managing a large employer for all their Workers Compensation claims along with continued assistance in a shared portfolio.


With a strong relationship with the employer and broker having been built I continue to provide open, consistent communication, collaboration on strategies with a proactive approach for ongoing management of claims for optimal outcomes being achieved.


Providing assistance to colleagues to help foster their professional development. Providing training on Services Australia's processes, procedures, legal and legislative timeframes for the Academy Training Group

Case Manager

Management of a low intervention portfolio is a fast pace, high volume work load for a variety of colleagues who manage a variety of employers/brokers.


Low intervention new claims are assessed for the team to determine eligibility and appropriate case management. To enable growth assistance was consistently provided within shared and colleagues portfolio's.


Claims are monitored and strategies are in place to ensure claims are being finalised and targets met.


To ensure claims are being finalised, medicolegal appointments are to be arranged for claims with permanent impairment entitlements. Ensuring that open communication with all stake holders to ensure the appointments are suitable.


In preparation of settling claims once an agreement is reached, it was my role for the team to prepare all settlement documents, ensuring the documents were accurate and complaint with WorkCover regulations and internal procedures.

Operations Specialist

An Operations Specialist role is a fast paced, high volume work load. This includes payment of invoices, wage reimbursements, claim reimbursements along with lodgement of new claims across four different states.


Amongst these tasks additional tasks are delegated; claimant travel (organising flights, accommodation & cabcharges) and banking (reconciliation, refunds, uploading EFT details) along with authorising payments.
