The John Levitow award is one of the most prestigious awards in enlisted Professional Military Education in the United States Air Force. The John Levitow award is named after John L. Levitow, who received the Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War after saving his crew abroad a damaged aircraft. This award is described as the highest honor a student can earn.
