Johannes Wille began his career as an assistant editor at “Hauptstadtstudio Ost” (for the west german tv stations) in the time of Germanys reunification. There he gained his first experiences in researching information, became the courier of video cassettes from Zionskirchplatz in East Berlin to West Berlin and was allowed to take care of the editing of the correspondents Claus Richter and Horst Hano in the capital city studio.
After graduating from the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin and several stays abroad, he studied media sciences at the TU Berlin, founded several film and television production companies and a multimedia gallery at the same time, worked as a developer for ARD and Deutsche Welle, became a founding member of FAB (an independent TV station from Berlin) and showed video performances and short films at competitions and in galleries.
After these wild years, he also entered the music industry and became a publishing editioner at Universal Music Publishing and manager of German pop bands (.biglight, Delicate, Scycs, Skillshot, Schrottfisch, etc.).
His film and television activities continued to move between jobs as a producer and director of children's television programs, executive producer for the Echo Jazz - he became co-operator of the silent film cinema Delphi in Berlin Weißensee and worked in the event business as a production and project manager for galas, city festivals and weddings.
He also was the idea generator and production director for an inflatable roof construction that spanned a fencing piste at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. With this range of skills, Johannes Wille feels just as comfortable behind the camera as he does at his desk during conception and production preparations or in the director's chair for avant-garde films - he is always happy about exciting projects!
Reopening of an old former silent movie theatre - a lost place, right in the heart of the city - as an event location with movies, theatre, performances und concerts.
