  • Collaborated with group of 3 managers to accomplish Site Acceptance Testing of simulators across Amtrak system ahead of FRA mandated 2025 simulator ride policy for Locomotive Engineers.
  • Remote monitoring and troubleshooting support of simulators which includes supplying any replacement laptops or computers on demand.
  • Working with Host Railroads to obtain data sharing agreements in order to have accurate territories for Amtrak's simulators
  • Oversight of Simulator Remedial Training for Amtrak's Central-Northwest Region for Train and Engine employees.
  • Oversight of Head End Video Library of captured video from Road Foreman and myself of territories system wide to which helps crews keep up familiarization.
  • Collaborated use of Head End Videos with Amtrak's Host Railroad and Network Planning groups to work on delays and future improvements on key routes.

  • Taking inbound loads that have been lifted off trains into parking lot where operator would input lot and row where trailer was dropped into on board computers for inventory.
  • Operation of Mi-Jack Gantry Cranes lifting off loads of trains upon arrival and working with ground spotters to lift and secure loads into place on trains to depart.
  • Walking up to 8000ft intermodal Z trains unlocking inbounds loads to be lifted off and spotting cranes from ground for secure loading onto railcars

  • Worked with group to keep steady traffic flow of Semi trucks and trailers in and out of BNSF Willow Springs Intermodal Facility using handheld electronic devices to expedite movement
  • Inbounds billing paper inspected, damage to trailer or tires and fuel level if equipped with refrigeration unit before being granted permission to enter yard.
  • Outbound billing paper inspected, CDL number of driver taking load recorded and inspection of any new or previous damage was made before driver could depart with trailer.
  • Helped drivers find spots of their load to be picked up in trailer lot with use of handheld electronic devices.
