• Collaborated with group of 3 managers to accomplish Site Acceptance Testing of simulators across Amtrak system ahead of FRA mandated 2025 simulator ride policy for Locomotive Engineers.
• Remote monitoring and troubleshooting support of simulators which includes supplying any replacement laptops or computers on demand.

• Monitor operations of Chicago Terminal for train and engine movements yard and Union Station while on shift
• Achieved DSLE, using road experience with PTC to coach all engineers with cutover in Chicago Terminal, helping troubleshoot initialization to reduce delays.
• Supervise work train projects for station concrete demolition being dumped off site, working with B&B and track foreman to brief with crew needs to get task done safely and using past experience to help with freight equipment
• Supervise yardmasters and train and engine crews during shift, making sure program moves are completed for inbound trains, getting outbound trains out of yard down to CUS for ontime departure
• Communication with foreman and management from other craft through conference calls for planning and issues that need to be resolved with equipment
• Perform operational test to coach crews on behavior related to safety sensitive moves with feedback given for compliance or actions that may need improvement with non-compliance
• Check rides with engineers to determine knowledge and skill possessed to safely operate locomotives.

• Locomotive Engineer for Chicago West operating over BNSF on regular basis, last two years holding regular assignments to Ottumwa IA and keeping qualifications to Ft Madison IA and most recently Quincy IL
• Operation of UP reroutes due to flooding or derailments on BNSF
• Multiple co-ordination and operation of freight locomotive engine moves to and from foreign carriers
• Former Pilot Engineer for track work Detours between CUS and Yard Center on UP Villa Grove subdivison which required Metra, NS (Conrail), BRC signals and rules
• Past qualifications Chicago South operating over the CN to Carbondale IL and over UP to ST Louis MO which this route required CN, UP, NS (N&W) and TRRA signals and rules
• OJTI certified to train present and future student engineers

• Peer trainer for getting road crews qualified between CP Canal to Proviso on Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad

• Meeting schedule demands inside one of BNSF busiest intermodal facilities, eastern end of its Chicago to Los Angeles transcon with High Priority trains, UPS being top customer.
• Operation of spotter trucks taking loads from trailer lot to outbound train where then it was parallel parked by car as informed by onboard computer to be lifted and loaded onto train.
• Taking inbound loads that have been lifted off trains into parking lot where operator would input lot and row where trailer was dropped into on board computers for inventory.
• Operation of Mi-Jack Gantry Cranes lifting off loads of trains upon arrival and working with ground spotters to lift and secure loads into place on trains to depart.
• Walking up to 8000ft intermodal Z trains unlocking inbounds loads to be lifted off and spotting cranes from ground for secure loading onto railcars

• Worked with group to keep steady traffic flow of Semi trucks and trailers in and out of BNSF Willow Springs Intermodal Facility using handheld electronic devices to expedite movement
• Inbounds billing paper inspected, damage to trailer or tires and fuel level if equipped with refrigeration unit before being granted permission to enter yard.
• Outbound billing paper inspected, CDL number of driver taking load recorded and inspection of any new or previous damage was made before driver could depart with trailer.
• Helped drivers find spots of their load to be picked up in trailer lot with use of handheld electronic devices.
