University Projects

THU - Development of a Simulator for an Autonomous Racing Car

10/2022 – 01/2023

Developed a software program to simulate vehicle performance and integrated it with a simulated autonomous driving system to test  autonomous functionality across diverse track scenarios for the THU Einstein Motorsport team.

  • Designed and built a GUI with a dynamic side menu using C# for real-time visualization of car parameters, including mass, speed, PID, IMU, and GSS values, as well as toggling between manual and autonomous driving modes.
  • Implemented modular and configurable capabilities based on Unity to simulate driving Physics on various tracks and conditions.
  • Implemented an interface where variable data is updated and used for communication between the autonomous system backend and the GUI frontend.
  • Participated in SCRUM-based agile development, using Jira for issue tracking and GitLab for version control, and developed solutions aligned with the specifications of the Einstein Motorsport team.
