Duties and Resposibilities

• Monitoring the Toolbox talk conducted by the supervisor
• Regular visit to site & carries out inspections
• Conducting special TBT for the working crew
• Implementation of safe work procedure according to clients HSE procedure
• Reporting near misses & to make sure same incidents never happen again
• Identification of new hazards in site activities & revise the risk assessment according to new hazard
• Conduct monthly inspection for firefighting systems & fall protection equipment.
• Monitoring of usage of work-related PPE
• Review the permit & documents including a clear work description, and realistic planned start and completion times for the work
• Periodic Inspection of Vehicles, Heavy machinery, Equipment and Tools.
• Inspection of Employees behavior to comply with safety standards.
• Coordinating the Commissioning activities, analyzing any Health, Safety and Environmental problem that may arise
• Provide support to project and operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health and safety, environment issues.
• Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company's Field training and HSE program, i.e., emergency response systems.
• Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating, and implementing of Effective HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
• Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety, and environmental issues.
• Ensuring HSE compliance and perform regular HSE audits in the areas of business and Power Plant operations
• Investigate and complete the process for close out of all observations.
• Assist in the development of project specific HSE procedures.
• Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
