- Worked on various topics related to system safety in embedded system and was project manager for development of the ESSaRel tool which was used in the safety industry. This tool provides creation and evaluation of Component Fault Trees (CFT) and State/Event Fault Trees.
- Designed and developed a framework that combines CFTs derived from multiple architectural views into an integrated CFT, thereby effectively combining the experience and wisdom of various experts obtained from diverse perspectives of the system into a single, more complete CFT which yields more comprehensive results from qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Mentored students of the Software Quality Assurance course which is a part of the curriculum for Master's degree in Software Engineering for Embedded Systems offered by TU Kaiserslautern and the distance learning program offered by Fraunhofer IESE.
