At Nora Lees i was on the flattop i made cajun food i will prep sauces and my line in the morning i will help stock the fridge when a delivery order comes. When i cooked fish, chicken, and steak i would blacken them with blackening seasoning including cheese steak and we also had different type of burgers.
I had transferred to big kahuna from fosters since they had a fry cook position available and then they moved me to the flattop grill. Many things i had to do was get the line ready since i did the breakfast menu and the binging of lunch. I cooked omelets, french toast, different style off eggs, breakfast burritos and benedict for breakfast. For lunch i would make cheese steak , chicken tenders, steak, Ahi fish for salads and then burgers
My responsibility in Fosters Kitchen was salads and deserts i would need to make them from scratch like all of the sauces we use also cheesecake, chocolate cake and banana pudding and much more . When i needed to make the salads i would make them look presentable for the orders. I had to make sure everything was labeled and fresh everyday.
