Deployment to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

  • Systems Administrator: Issued and revoked user accounts in Active Directory. Modified accesses and group policies.
  • Help Desk: Troubleshot and resolved over 300 tickets for 150 workstations, and 75 end users. Configured the network for Unclassified, Secret, NSA, and JWICS systems. Maintained and serviced fiber lines for all four echelons. Re-imaged and upgraded computers, monitors, peripherals, and VoIP phones throughout the duration of the deployment.
  • SSR (Special Security Representative): Managed security of a SCIF and multiple Secured work areas. Facilitated routine training for occupants of the SCIF. Vetted personnel and equipment for entry and exit of the secured areas.
  • Equipment Movement: Facilitated the movement of unclassified and classified equipment both out of, and into, the continental United States. Totaling over $10 million worth of equipment.

Maintained hosts and clusters, configured virtual NICs of VMs, ensured interoperability, uploaded and configured the VMs, troubleshot, modified services, modified virtual disk storage, and configured or modified datastores.
  • SATCOM Experience: Configured and maintained two Trojan Lite (V3) systems. This included network access request submissions, ACC Key and Option File uploads, iDirect Sat Modem configuration and troubleshooting, and satellite dish operation.
