After having graduated from the University of Stirling with a B.A. in Film & Media and Psychology, I specialised in Social Psychology and Consumer Behaviour through Masters programme at NYU. Applying skills from both fields, I worked as a consumer insights analyst at Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery, and most recently at Studiocanal. My professional life so far has been driven by my curiosity in and desire to explore people's decision-making, especially in the context of media and entertainment consumption, which is ever evolving with technological advances and socio-cultural changes.
At Studiocanal I provide marketing, sales and production stakeholders with in-depth analyses of qualitative and quantitative data from content testing, including test screenings, poster and trailer tests. I conduct performance reviews of our campaigns and competitors’ campaigns, monitor social conversations, and produce evaluations of entertainment brands and intellectual properties. I also explore and implement AI tools and methods to enhance research capabilities and streamline insight generation.
As part of the Global Social Intelligence team I served as the lead analyst and primary point of contact for German-market stakeholders across Warner Bros Theatrical, HBO, Warner Bros. Television, DC Comics and WB Games. I translated social listening and audience data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for marketing, PR and content teams, using tools such as NetBase to track audience reactions, sentiment and conversational trends. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to inform campaign strategy and optimize audience engagement.
As Head of Marketing for the newly launched streaming service SOONER, I developed the brand strategy and led consumer research to inform positioning and go-to-market plans. I managed partner and vendor relationships, oversaw social media and performance marketing, and coordinated collaborations with film festivals. I also managed a small team and strengthened my leadership and project management skills while building the service’s initial audience.
In my role as consumer insights analyst I collected and analysed qualitative and quantitative data to inform development, production and marketing decisions. I designed and executed content and promotional testing, produced audience profiles and sizing analyses, and reported on awareness, intent and social conversation trends to support commissioning and marketing teams.
