

I am Lilian Ignasy Msasi from Tanzania, currently a PhD student at the Harbin Institute of Technology, China, where I am pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Urban and Rural Planning at the School of Architecture and Design. I hold a Master of Science in Urban Management and Development, with a specialization in Urban Housing, Equity, and Social Justice from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In addition, I serve as an Assistant Lecturer at the Institute of Rural Development Planning, a government institution based in Dodoma City, Tanzania. I bring a diverse skill set in urban planning and development, including urban climate, urban design, housing, and GIS and remote sensing analysis. My work is driven by a commitment to shaping sustainable, resilient, and inclusive urban environments.
