- patrolling and monitoring the situation at the confrontation line between Armenia and Azerbaijan

- Human security patrols (HS), Security and safety awareness patrols (SSA), VIP visits (ambassadors and other interlocutors)

Patrol duty in general including the ‘first attack’ on all areas of police operations. This includes traffic accidents,
theft, domestic violence, murder, drugs, arson, but also all forms of assistance such as administrative assistance, helpless people, mentally disturbed people, lost people and much more.

Furthermore I am part of a specialized unit, for access and arrests. This unit is organized like the riot police and we train every month to to ensure a smooth, cohesive engagement as a unit. This work is very physically demanding and only a few women are accepted into this unit.

- Mentoring and advising on missions (patrol service in the region of Mopti)
- Support local security forces by building capacity in their daily activities, in compliance with the current mandate
- Volunteer in long-range and helicoptered and overnight patrols
- Report writing at the conclusion of every patrols or escorts to middle and higher management level (Regional Commander and to the headquarters in the capital)
- Reporting on the security situation (daily and weekly)
- Research and collection of information from UNPOL and RJOC (Regional joined opperation center), exchange and verifie information
- Force meetings on a daily bases and report back to UNPOL hierarchy as needed
- Mission planning for all sections (police, force, human rights, justice and correction etc.)
- Liaison officer to UNMAS (updating the police section and the force as well as organizing trainings for local police, gendarmerie and UN staff)
- Translation of several information in spoken word and in writing (englisch/ german /french)

The patrol service on a highway specializes in controlling traffic offenses such as drunk driving, speeding, heavy transport, livestock transport, accidents, drug trafficking on the highways through or into the country and
regular metropolitan controls with various other authorities such as customs and immigration authorities.
