• Lead and deliver the procurement & buying spend process in line with budgets, drive down cost and risk exposure from market & local factors.
• Ensure the supply chain base can meet current and future production demands, schedules and business needs to meet commitments On Time, In Full to Quality (OTIFTQ).
• Continually gather supplier feedback to enhance joint working relationships, negotiate with suppliers to establish a win:win outcome whilst meeting the company business needs
• Drive improved team performance through nternal or external training process; facilitate & foster wider team engagement
• Ensure all suppliers contractually meet internal and external health, safety and environment legislative, industry & company standards in terms of packaging, deliveries and site visits

• Responsible for sourcing and buying welding wires and raw materials for welding wires production
• Ensure continuity of supply of components and raw materials for the production
• Ensure compliance to company purchasing policies, procedures and material specifications
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with Planning, Finance, Sales, Poduct Managers and other teams
• Developing and managing relationships with global manufacturers
• Identifying and negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best cost: most recent project includes consolidation of aluminum range and achieving 15% savings as a result of volume bundling
• Support New Product Introduction and re-sourcing of existing products
• Manage PPV
• Training, mentoring and supervising junior buyers

• Purchase goods/medical supplies for resale
• Processing purchase orders
• Overseeing and managing leasing process for the fleet of 50 - 60 company cars and vans
• Leasing of cars and vans on a long term contracts
• Leasing of cars and vans in fast-paced environment, for project work and ad-hoc work
• Analysis, processing and completion of short term and long term vehicle lease contracts
• Collaboration with insurance companies and the drivers regarding accidents
• Maintain accident data base
• Analysis and control of the vehicle spending costs
• Preparation of weekly reports
• Stock control (ensure availability of stock, support sales department with stock information)
• Regular review and update of stock related information and databases
