Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Erasmus+ internship opportunity at your college. I am currently a 23-year-old student in Germany studying to become a teacher, with a focus on English education and pedagogy. An international internship in a school environment is a very important step in my academic and professional development, which is why I am highly motivated to contribute to your institution and its projects.

Through my university studies, I have gained knowledge in English linguistics, language learning processes, and inclusive education. I regularly work with topics such as supporting heterogeneous classrooms, understanding student´s individual learning needs, and developing effective teaching strategies. These experiences have prepared me well to assist teachers in the classroom, support students with different learning levels, and help create a positive and motivating learning environment in English and German.

Growing up in a multilingual environment, I speak German, Arabic, English, and basic skills of the Spanish language. German is one of my native languages, and I use English extensively in my academic studies. Because of this background, I feel confident assisting students in improving their communicative competence in English or German and helping them prepare for international mobility programs such as Erasmus+. I would also enjoy sharing aspects of German culture with students and participating in intercultural exchange within your school community.

Your internship program particularly interests me because of the opportunity to be involved in projects such as Erasmus+, environmental education initiatives, and collaborative school activities. I am eager to support students, contribute to project work, and assist in developing teaching materials. As a future teacher, I am very interested in gaining insight into the internal functioning of a school, attending meetings, and learning from experienced educators.

For my Bachelor degree, completing an international internship is an essential requirement before I can continue to my Master’s studies. I therefore need to complete a three-month full-time internship before October 2026 in order to be able to enroll in my Master’s program on time. Because of this academic requirement, I am very determined and committed to successfully completing this internship within this timeframe. I am confident that my motivation, intercultural background, and strong interest in education would allow me to make a meaningful contribution to your college.
