Awards

I have received other awards from a former agency for outstanding performance and dedication to service. The award was from the Governor of San Juan Tribal Government in 1999. This award is most valued to me due to the fact, of not what I did but that people developed a new perspective of community policing, and I was just happy to be a part.

Philosophy and Ideology

  • I have learned that as a public servant, people do not care what you know, but they want to know that you care. I came into public service to serve all those that I contact, reach solutions by using current and innovative decision making. To demonstrate leadership, selfless service, integrity, loyalty, discipline and the respect of all people while on and off duty.
  • Concepts:
  • Community Policing
  • Intelligent led Policing
  • Predictable Policing
  • Problem Oriented Policing
  • Servant Leadership
  • DDAC (using crime data to assist in determine where crime happens or will happen and place resources there to ensure a change in crime trends.)
  • Training and continuing education for all members will be quintessential in achieving mission success. We all will succeed and ensure that those that come after us will know the road to success set by our example.
