Controlling the Safety & Quality Management of the company, developing new procedures based on the new requirements, updating existing procedures, responsible for controlling the shipboard audits by managing a team of qualified auditors/inspectors, acting also as lead auditor, managing a team of incident investigators and responsible for the incident investigation of accidents/incidents of the fleet, acting also as lead investigator, responsible for the implementation of ISM/ISPS/MLC onboard all vessels under the management and also in the office. Furthermore responsible for the implementation of the Safety & Quality system in the head and side officers, lead internal auditor of all offices.

Monitoring and auditing the level of Cyber Security Implementation within the company.

Acting as the company security officer and also as the alternate Designated person ashore.

Last but not least responsible for the selecting, training and control of the emergency response team of the organisation. During emergencies acting as the chairman of the emergency response team.

• Consultation to insurance companies for cargo disputes
• Bunkering Surveys
• Pre-purchase surveys
• Preparation of technical documentation for ships (loading manuals, technical modifications etc)
• Incident Investigations
• Preparation of technical files for small crafts as per the requirements of Cyprus Flag (Coastal vessels).

• Directed daily operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Update existing procedures & developing new based on the needs of the company
• Visiting ships for internal ISM/ISPS/ISO14001 audits and safety inspections
• Internal auditor of the office
• Incident investigations
• following up Non-Conformities, Near misses and Accidents reported from the ships
• Member of the ER Team
• Conducting Gap analysis and Risk assessments for the company's key operations

• Responsible for the maintenance of the fleet of tugs owned by the company.
• Plan & supervise repairs and modifications of the tugs
• responsible for ordering and maintain the inventory of the essential spares for the fleet.
• Conducting emergency repairs when needed
