Niguel Hillyard

I currently volunteer at a Youth Center for the CVJM. I work with kids and teenagers. I get to play games with them in our spielzone or we play a multitude of sports in our gym(ex. Basketball, Football, Volleyball, etc.) I am also there to be a role model or be some type of big brother figure. Our mission is to give back to the community and to spread God's love. I also clean our spielzone and gym.

Tasks as a retail stocker: receive/check products in a store and prepare them for putting on the shelves . We ensure that the items are received, processed, and stored correctly on the shelves according to company rules. In addition, we are responsible for pricing and facing all items in the store.

Tasks as a Hub Driver: deliver parts to correct stores in the district, put away returns, send out VDP orders(out of state orders), answer phone calls regarding to orders, pick items for the stores who ordered the parts through the system. When scheduled to close, you pick items that are ordered for the next day, clean the back of the hub and lock up.

Tasks as manager: customer service, cashier, making schedules, pitching discount card/magazine program, constantly clean the store(folding clothes, re-organizing merchandise), make sure the employees were doing their jobs correctly.

Similar as to what I'm currently doing now, I worked with a variety of people. But my particular job was working with kids ages between 3-18 years old. Our goal was to build our community and have a place where people could enjoy sports.

Tasks as a rec leader: coaching, referee, camp leader, stats keeper, making sure the kids are safe, scoreboard keeper.
