I grew up in multiple countries: Japan, Slovakia, Malaysia, United States, and Tanzania. Being exposed to different people and cultures from a very young age, an international environment is something natural to me. While, I excelled most in math-related subjects up to high school, I realized the importance of asking the right questions through my increased interest in the humanities in my undergraduate years.
Now, not only do I have the mathematical and technical capabilities for policy analysis, but the necessary foundations in holistic thinking as well.
Researched and complied information relating to weekly topics of the video podcast. In addition, created information panels for explaining during the shoot using Adobe Illustrator. Occasionally, contributed to camera work during the shoot.
Assisted students and the professor in conducting the “Modern History” class facilitated by the renowned historical sociologist, Professor Eiji Oguma. Offered both technical support such as making sure devices necessary for presentations functioned properly and facilitated in-class discussions.
Helped students and supported the professor in conducting the “Research Methodology” class taught by my thesis mentor, Professor Shugo Shinohara. Qualified for the position by excelling in the class the previous year.
Gathered data related to Professor Shugo Shinohara’s research on the topic of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, worked on finding relevant academic research articles on international public administration journals.
Taught predominantly Japanese people of all ages online. Responding to the diverse nature of students, each lesson was tailored to focus on improving the weakest aspects of students.
Assisted the professor and students in the “Calculus” class. Lead and collaborated with other Student Assistants to create homework questions that were given each week to students.
Teamwork - In group situations, I am a mediator I make sure that all the voices are heard and actively try to incorporate everyone’s opinions and points when having to decide on something as a group

Work Ethic - I don’t leave things undone When I start something, I always finish them even though sometimes the result is not the desired outcome Also, I have the discipline to pursue my own passion without being influenced too much by my peers I can stick to my own thoughts and vision
Language - I am bilingual, fluent in both English and Japanese
I have received the kyojo/certificates until the chu-kyu/middle level from the Urasenke School of Japanese tea ceremony.
I have played golf since I was very young - once becoming the under 13 Penang state champion in Malaysia. I continued competitive golf through the beginning of high school. My best score is one under par 71.
