Shanghai Village Opening - March-May 2016
During a three-month assignment in Shanghai, I contributed as a key member of the on-ground team leading up to the opening of Shanghai Village, the second and largest Value Retail luxury shopping village in China. My responsibilities included establishing the Office Management department, which encompassed staff recruitment, the development and implementation of processes and procedures, and the coordination of the site office to support the opening team.
Additionally, I played a pivotal role in organizing two large-scale job fairs in Shanghai, facilitating the recruitment efforts of brands and Value Retail in preparation for the village's launch. I also provided critical support for the opening celebrations on May 14th.
Further responsibilities extended to Suzhou Village, where I managed the recruitment of office staff for the Office Management department and assisted in the restructuring of the team, alongside refining associated processes and procedures.
