• Led a team of 8 engineers in developing a highly scalable and highly available "API-as-a-product" with Node.js, TypeScript, AWS lambda, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, DynamoDB, and Terraform CDKTF for Infrastructure as code.

• Led two teams of 5-6 software engineers building web applications based on Python Django (Django Rest Framework), TypeScript, ReactJs, NestJS, NextJs, and Postgres.
• Performed code reviews and implemented guidelines to improve the software development process. I also provided technical guidance and established channels for effective feedback loops among team members.
• Mentored and coached participants in the Andela Women Technical Leadership program and CodeQueen (Kampala) program, initiatives by Educate The Children. These platforms focused on grooming talented women in technology and empowering them with entrepreneurial skills to improve their lives and make a positive impact in their communities.
• Taught software development techniques to learners during 2-week long coding boot camps held every quarter.
• Supported Technical Talent development within the company and in the community by mentoring and facilitating developer boot camps in Uganda and Kenya.
• Designed and developed Javascript web applications and Python web APIs for Andela partners such as Jukely and Omadi.

I worked on a team building a web-based application with PHP Laravel for clients and hosted in private data centers.

Applications build include: Motor Vehicle Insurance Issuer and Tracker for Association of Kenyan Insurers (AKI), A dental appointment management application called Kwotii.

During my 4 years at One...solutions, I evolved in a number of roles and I worked on various teams building various tools for managed cloud services. Some of these include.

• Voip web clients for sales and call center applications using SIP and WebRTC technology.
• Applications for provisioning routers and storage devices
• Applications for business workflow automation, i.e customer relationship management (CRM), Human resource management (HRM), Finance and Billing, Procurement, and help desk.

Eye4Africa supports personal and professional development for individuals and organizations in Uganda and the Netherlands by providing work placements for young professionals and internships for students.

At Eye4Africa, I undertook the design and development of an Internship Management System to track and manage applicants for a sabbatical in Uganda. The application is written in PHP, HTML, Javascript, JQuery and CSS BOOTSTRAP.

Worked with a group of 5 other student software developers and doctors from Makerere School of public health to develop an E-Portfolio application for Makerere University.

The E-Portfolio platform is designed to help students identify, reflect on and record the many diverse experiences that have contributed to their learning and development at University.
