- My main job function at FORD is related to Global Vendor Tooling (GVT) project management.
- The job consists of daily meeting with Tier1 Suppliers and internal Engineering teams and other supporting areas like purchasing and finance in order to elaborate a plan to source production tools globally and have a smooth launch phase.
- This role contribution to the company business is to ensure that tools are being sourced with the expected quality, on time and cost effective, meaning direct impact in the vehicle margin and profitability. Projects cost Magnitude of 200M€ per years
- As Team Leader I am the single point of contact in GVT, I provide ongoing support to direct reports, addressing concerns or questions promptly so they could remain focused on their tasks.
