Responsible for handling third party embedded software development for one of newest projects at Thales railways division based on in-house embedded hardware and Linux based OS platform, directly responsible for software quality topics etc.
Managed an external company with engineers in Germany and Mexico, for all SW delivery activities, starting from planning, documentation, training, SW development, quality continuous integration and pipeline definition, product test in lab, product release and acceptance criteria. The SW has compliance to railway functional safety (CENELEC) and cyber security (IEC 62443).
Additionally, I managed software integration of the core real-time operating system for all Thales railways signaling products, working as a bridge between OS team and core applications teams. I was a part of a team to define strategy, plans and procedure for seamless Operating system integration for different signaling computer systems used in high-speed railway networks.

As a technical project lead, I started and established software quality practice and group at Dialog semiconductor. I worked under senior director of semiconductor test, with teams for the entire chipset testing group at Dialog semiconductors spanning in Europe, Asia and America, supporting code quality improvements for manufacturing test programs for tier 1 Dialog customers in Asia and EU. I was the project lead of the SW-Quality improvement project for the semiconductor test operation teams spread across 3 continents that resulted in large savings and optimizations for the entire department. The tester platforms are ATE machines from Teradyne and Advantest.
I worked as a technical project lead, responsible for this entire digitization project that included setting up the technical strategy and road map, Implement ISO25010 SW quality standard, Introduce analysis based quality standards for automotive chipset test software(MISRA,CERT), introduce git based version control of advanced code base, introduce Atlassian tool-sets(JIRA, Bitbucket…), introduced static code analysis (sonarqube, klockoworks), driving development of new tools, work with engineering teams to setup agile/scrum flows, setup test automation by using in-house tooling thus offloading developers from daily manual test activities, lead development teams in Germany and Greece to create Jenkins based CI system that does continuous code quality assessments using modern static code analysis tools part of the new DevOps infrastructure, managing resources and costs of new tool procurement from vendors, setup quality metrics and SW KPI, work with senior management in cost control and reduction exercises by optimizing SW development flow and setup training and education for development teams to follow the newly introduced quality principles and standards for software development. I was also driving the software process and quality audits throughout the organization.
I was also directly responsible to work with my senior management to hire technical candidates in software engineering roles, trained and educated the new starters and enabled them to be part of the already existing development teams.
