As the Project Attribute Lead:

• Lead crash safety topics to manage all crash-related activities in vehicle development for platform BR590, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and overseeing prototype testing with effective project management and engineering solutions for challenges encountered in achieving good structural ratings and integrity, and comply with NCAP, FMVSS, and UN regulations and standards.
• Support in the coordination of technical project management activities and technical development activities.
• Implement best practices gained from experiences and enhance product development techniques.
• Collaborate with AMG and internal teams to validate crash safety measures.
• Manage timelines and quality of crash deliverables across multiple projects, preparing project schedules.

As a CAE Specialist:

• Evaluate load cases and develop countermeasures for front, side, and rear crashes using CAE tools.
• Extensively worked on Small overlap crash load case (IIHS) to solve the problem and optimize the structure and developed a counter measure.
• Work on Post crash corelation simulation activities for front crash to develop further action plan for Certifications
• Have a deep understanding on frontal NCAP and Regulatory crash load requirements.
• Prepare project reports and presentations for task forces and management, consolidating cost estimates, and monitoring budget spending.

• Worked on AMG topics related to EU-7 requirements, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory load cases (e.g., FMVSS 208, ECE R94) for the BR167 MOPF series.
• Delivered an optimized design for the front module to achieve a better rating in the compatibility load case for high-performance AMG vehicles, coordinating with team members, interpreting AMG requirements, and communicating outcomes to BTVs and key stakeholders.
• New Methods Developments: Low-voltage cable modeling and fault detection. Driving innovation in digital methods for LV harnesses by developing CAE-based approaches to detect and optimize failures in cable bundles, wires, and attachments during low-speed crashes—enabling early issue resolution and reducing late-stage detection and costs resulting from last-minute changes.
• Mercedes Benz Cars: Finished Projects -> Next-gen E-Class (BR214) led crash safety efforts for the MBC Next Gen E-Class platform, ensuring compliance with global consumer ratings (EuroNCAP, USNCAP, JNCAP) and regulatory standards (FMVSS, ECE R94/95) for frontal and rear impacts.
• Developed and implemented structural optimizations and countermeasures in collaboration with stakeholders, achieving targets while reducing BIW mass through efficient thickness design and part commonization across lead and derivative lines.
• Mercedes-Benz Cars: All other projects and topics contributed to crash safety development for Smart BR453, C-Class (W206), and E-Class Cabriolet (BR238) across front, side, and rear impacts. Played a key role in developing countermeasures for EQC, for the small overlap load case. Solved battery intrusion problem with a design which resulted in a patent for W453-EV (DE 102016004577). Worked on hardware-simulation correlation, dynamic behavior, and modeling improvements.
• Worked on BIW and module modeling, and full-vehicle integration, including boundary conditions, mass balancing, and barriers.
