• Responsible for the efficient running of engineering equipment on board the company's vessels
• Assume management responsibilities and/or authority
• Drafting and implementing plans related to maintenance management (Engine) of ships under management
• Collecting data and carrying out research related to machinery and equipment for preventing environmental pollution
• Establishing regulations and conventions related to ships equipment, collection of revised data and reporting the same to the ship
• Procuring spare parts, chemicals, lubricating oil, engine stores and electric stores
• Control of procedures and other documents as defined by the document control regulation
• Operation and communication with ships defined by the Emergency Response structure
• Planning and execution of engine maintenance management and evaluation of maintenance contractors
• Analysis of causes of machinery accidents and failures, examination of measures to prevent recurrence and execution of post-accident / post failure handling operations
• Control and attendance of drydock operations
• Research into safe machinery operation and into facilities, fuels, lubricating oils and water quality as pertain to machinery

• Field Service and Maintenance For; Governors Overhaul for the Main Engine and Gen-Set (Woodward brand UG-8, UG-10, UG-25, UG-10 MAS types, Europa Regulateurs, Yanmar and Zexel brand governors)
• Taking the governor from vessels, overhauling on the workshop, assembly, and testing on workshop, installing on the engine and testing with the engine
• Main Engine Pneumatic System (Sulzer brand Main Engines Pneumatic Valves)
• MAN, ME Engines Exhaust Valve Actuators
• MAN, ME Engines Fuel Booster
• Main Engines Timing Adjustments (for Sulzer two stroke engines)
