Team Lead – ECU Testing for Electronic Toll Collection Systems
In this role, I led a team focused on ECU testing for Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) systems from various OEMs, including Mercedes-Benz AG and BMW AG. My responsibilities spanned across software development, testing, and client collaboration.

Key responsibilities included:

• Team Leadership: Leading a team of ECU testing experts, ensuring alignment with project goals and delivery timelines.
• Software Development: Developing rest-bus simulations using Canoe and CAPL for comprehensive system validation.
• Test Case Implementation: Designing and implementing manual and automated test cases with Python scripting.
• Signal Measurement: Conducting precise signal measurements in the 5.8 GHz and infrared bands under static and dynamic conditions.
• Results Analysis & Client Engagement: Analyzing, evaluating, and presenting end-test results to clients for actionable insights and project success.

I honed my technical expertise and leadership skills in this role while contributing to the development and validation of cutting-edge automotive tolling systems.

• Evaluation and redevelopment of the in-house Power Matrix device including an architectural development for implementing new features of the new Power Matrix device
• New features including integrated current measurement and protection as well as Graphical OLED implementation
• Embedded software prototype as well as PCB was implemented

• Further development of in-house Power-Matrix Device in the communication module
• USB to I2C messaging decryption and logic evaluation including USB communication protocol study, embedded C Program coding, as well as Printed Circuit Board design
• Achieved a more cost-effective device with the state-of-the-art electronic circuit
