An experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in structural engineering and product design engineering, and over nine years of expertise in this field. Currently working in the photovoltaic energy sector as a product & project design engineer for a company based in Germany. • Designed Flat-Roof Photovoltaic module supporting articles with improved load bearing capacity for high wind load areas.
• Run multiple mechanical properties assessment test in the laboratory for various products to ascertain EU code safety requirements conformity.
• Supervised major projects including two hospitals, three factories and nine residential buildings through sub-structure and super-structure construction.
• Managed a team of over 75 people to oversee completion of various projects, which included oversee material acquisition, cost analysis and onsite supervision.
• Worked in partnership with producers and suppliers from UAE, Turkey and China to tailor produce construction materials for conditions specific to Ethiopia's heavy rainfall.
• Winner of AGYLE ( African German Younger leaders in Business) for the projects completed with effective and economical means in 2021.
• Recognition given by a German NGO called Project-E for volunteer work done as an English teacher for underprivileged women and children in the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
