Sylvia Mössinger

PhD Candidate

Summary

I am a highly qualified candidate for a PhD position in your lab. I have over five years experience within the field of Neuroscience and Neurobiology. I also studied a bachelors in Cognitive science (with Prof. Ansorge) and a masters in Integrative Neuroscience (with Prof. Hinrichs and Prof Dürschmid) in Osnabrueck and Magdeburg, where I was acquiring a lot of skills in Molecular Science and imaging as well as electrophysiological (human and mice) approaches. My master thesis was about "Deviance Detection in the Nucleus Basalis of Meynert" dealing with electrophysiological approaches (Deep- brain stimulation) within the human brain. This makes me a likeable candidate to all branches of Science or Business. From 10.10.2018 until now, I do a PhD in the domain of Neuroscience (Doctoral Thesis: "Examining the Positivity Effect in Subjects with and without Neuro conditions such as Alzheimer's disease") in the department School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences with Prof. Michiko Sakaki and Prof. Aileen Ho at the University of Reading, UK.

Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
