  • MEMS fabrication
  • Computational modeling
  • Nonlinear dynamics
  • Optics and photonics
  • Data analyzation

Accomplishments

Polynomial approximation for precise and fast charged‑particle tracking through a digitized magnetic field (2022):

  • Simulated curvature of the path followed by high energy charged particles and matched it with a reconstructed one from signals received at the photodetecteors of LHCb using C++ and Wolfram Mathematica.
  • Implemented a mathematical model to approximate the path of the particles using only polynomial approximations and analyzed its reliability and advantages using Python.

Nonlinear dynamics of silicon nitride resonators in optomechanical systems (2024):

  • Fabricated MEMS in a cleanroom environment using Electron beam lithography, Reactive-ion etching and Wet etching for creating free-standing structures.
  • Optically characterized the devices using laser diodes, optical fibers and data acquisition devices
  • Mechanically characterized the behavior of miniature resonators through light interaction under vacuum using LabView software, optical devices and data acquisition systems including network analyzers, lock-in amplifiers and oscilloscopes

Activities

  • Member of PushQuantum, a student initiative focused on bringing quantum enthusiasts together, with a focus on making quantum technologies easily understandable to the general public. As part of a team I helped organize exhibitions on quantum duality, entanglement and quantum cryptography at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany. Additionally I was part of a podcast production where experts in the field of quantum innovations and regulations were interviewed.
  • Participated in ETH Quantum Hackathon 2023
  • Simulated Quantum many-body dynamics using Qiskit as part of my Master's degree advanced training
