Investigated 3-deoxyglucosone (3-DG) transformations and stability in intestines, quantified resulting products using GC-MS, and assessed AKR1B10 enzyme activity in vitro using a Caco-2 cell model.

• Synthesized and characterized chelating systems for group 2 metals and radiometals using NMR and MS, and determined thermodynamic parameters using ITC, UV-Vis, and NMR titration.

• Contributed to international education and innovation initiatives on equality, diversity, and inclusion, including Erasmus+ CBHE projects and collaboration with global stakeholders.

• Designed computational workflow to model peptide-PFAS interactions (GROMACS) and performed thermodynamic characterization of molecular binding using ITC.
